Mission
We created "Black Sea Catch" because we believe it's high time to rediscover our seafood. And why not our sea as a whole. But to do that, we must first change our perspective and truly get to know it.
Our mission is to introduce you to the Black Sea, its treasures, and Black Sea fishing up close and in a new light.
Sustainable and environmentally friendly fishing
We know that there is a way for fishing communities to thrive without it being at the expense of our sea. That is why we support and work with those fishermen who follow the rules and respect the sea like we do.
Together with them, we develop initiatives that work to enforce sustainable and gentle fishing practices in our sea.
1% for our sea
We allocate 1% of all our revenue to finance projects that link the use of Black Sea resources with its conservation. We launch and support initiatives that work directly, effectively, and measurably to solve specific Black Sea problems.
That is why we created and fund the "For Our Sea" Foundation. We extend a hand of partnership to all who recognize this cause as their own!
0% WASTE
We are working to achieve 0% waste from the fish used in the production of our products. We have already achieved it for a large part of our products and are actively working on the rest. Because we believe that the resources of our sea are too valuable to waste and throw away. And that every part of the fish can and should be utilized.
Our projects
We used the International Fishermen and Fishing Day (29.06.) to draw attention to the need for sustainable and environmentally friendly fishing in our sea.
"The Most Precious Catch" is our joint initiative with the "Black Sea Sunrise" fishing association. Our common goal: to limit the damage from old fishing nets drifting undisturbed in the Black Sea.
