Anchovy is a small fish from the anchovy family and is found in many other seas and oceans. However, the Black Sea anchovy beats it in terms of taste, due to the low salinity of our sea. To some, it may resemble sprat, but it differs from it in its much larger mouth and rounded body. Due to the relatively high fat content, the spiciness of the pepper in the spicy version is an ideal companion for it. Our anchovy is marinated in olive oil, salt and vinegar - a classic in fish recipes that needs nothing else. It sends directly to memories of our sea.
