A little more about the book "Black Sea"

The book covers everything from the creation of the sea and its relief to the diversity of its inhabitants - from tiny creatures in the shallows to larger marine animals. It reveals how organisms are connected in a complex web of relationships and what place humans occupy in it.

The little explorers will learn which professions are related to the sea, will travel from the northern to the southern coast and will peek into the past of ancient cities such as Varna, Nessebar. They will also get to know natural landmarks such as the petrified forest near Sozopol. They will go on underwater missions with the robotic submarine of the Institute of Oceanology or they will choose a water sport.

Last but not least, the book draws attention to the environmental challenges facing the Black Sea and offers ideas on how children can contribute to its protection.
